Installing fiber directly into each unit guarantees fast and reliable internet speeds for every apartment. Fiber technology is renowned for meeting the escalating demands of end users and their devices for high-speed internet. This approach also enables us to allocate dedicated speeds to individual end users and establish private networks for each apartment.
Residents have two options when signing up for WTC service: 1000 Mbps for $59 per month or 250 Mbps for $49 per month. Both plans include the rental cost for our managed wi-fi equipment.
Timeline for the construction process is dependent on the size of the apartment building or complex, the type of fiber drop needed to reach the building (i.e. aerial or buried) and the distance from the building to our mainline fiber infrastructure. Internal wiring for a 12- to 15-unit building can typically be completed in one full business day. If burying the fiber drop is needed, the timeline for exterior work is heavily dependent on our current project list and weather conditions.
WTC offers two Preferred Partner Agreement options. Under an exclusive marketing agreement, partners choose to exclusively market WTC as the preferred internet provider throughout their building. Residents set up service and are billed directly from WTC. Under a bulk marketing agreement, partners choose to have internet service turned on for all units throughout the building or complex. WTC would bill the partner/building owner for these services which the partner can include, at their discretion, in rent/utilities charges for their residents.
No, a preferred partner agreement is not required for WTC to provide service in your building. As long as you are willing to provide access to the units during the construction process, we are ready to serve you and your residents.
Having Wi-Fi equipment pre-installed greatly simplifies the sign-up process with WTC. It eliminates the necessity for scheduling installation appointments for new residents, as we can remotely activate and deactivate services as needed.

Residents can sign up by navigating to the WTC website at wtcks.com/apartments, where they'll search for their apartment address and click "get started." They will then follow a step-by-step process, similar to making an online purchase. After submitting their application, a member of WTC's customer service team will promptly reach out to complete the account setup process.
