Remote Activation of Call Forwarding

Call Forward Remote Access (CFRA) supports call forwarding activation and deactivation from a location other than the subscribers home station.

 

To Activate:

  1. Subscriber dials the CFRA access directory number. CFRA numbers are: 458-1234 Wamego, 494-1234 St. George, 636-1234 Paxico and 321-1234 St. Marys.
  2. Subscriber receives ringback tone, followed by special dial tone.
  3. Subscriber enters 10-digit home directory number followed by Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  4. After 4 second timeout period or subscriber entered #, special dial tone is returned.
  5. Subscriber enter *72, special dial tone returned.
  6. Subscriber dials the number to which calls should be forwarded.
  7. When the feature is activated, the subscriber will hear confirmation tone, indicating that CFRA is in effect.

 

To Deactivate:

  1. Subscriber dials the CFRA access directory number.
  2. Subscriber receives ringback tone, followed by special dial tone.
  3. Subscriber enters 10-digit home directory number followed by Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  4. After 4 second timeout period or subscriber entered #, special dial tone is returned.
  5. Subscriber enters *73.
  6. When the feature is deactivated, the subscriber will hear confirmation tone, indicating that CFRA is in effect.

 

The following restrictions apply:

  1. Subscriber must also subscribe to Call Forwarding.
  2. Subscriber must use touchtone telephone set to perform CFRA.
