We want to help clear up some confusion about phone charges you may be seeing on your bill.
You were promised a $25 monthly cost for phone service, and that has not changed. On your bill, that $25 is simply split into two parts, which can make it look like there’s an extra charge when there isn’t.
Here’s how it breaks down:
$19.00 – Phone service monthly charge
$6.00 – Unlimited residential calling plan
When you add those together, they equal the $25 total you were quoted for phone service.
The $6 line item is not an additional or new charge. It’s part of the original $25 and is just shown separately for regulatory purposes and covers the unlimited Long Distance and the calling features included in your plan like Caller ID and Robocall Blocking.
If you ever have questions about your bill, our team is happy to walk through it with you and make sure everything makes sense.
